The avenue of Queensland Kauri Pine trees. These trees are still young, and although almost their full height, they will grow in girth until it's impossible to walk down this avenue of trees.

The bark of these trees, by the way, is a distinctive mottled pattern, an exact replica of which is used by the Australian army as the camouflage pattern on their uniforms.

All images on this website have been shot using either a Canon S40 compact digital camera, or a Canon 20D DLSR. I'm something of a Canon fan. :) Most images have been post processed with Adobe Photoshop and the CurveMeister plugin. I thoroughly recommend CurveMeister, BTW. It's a great piece of software.
