During the rush to build hotels on the beachfront in the 1960s, Waikiki was divided up into sections of beach, with each hotel staking claim to their bit by building barriers. It's now impossible to walk along the beach. Still, that's assuming you'd want to - it's packed with huge, ugly hotels, and thousands and thousands of American and Japanese tourists.

All images on this website have been shot using either a Canon S40 compact digital camera, or a Canon 20D DLSR. I'm something of a Canon fan. :) Most images have been post processed with Adobe Photoshop and the CurveMeister plugin. I thoroughly recommend CurveMeister, BTW. It's a great piece of software.
