I always thought taking photos in the casinos was not allowed, but at one point I asked a member of staff in ours. He said he didn't know what the policy was, so I figured maybe they don't take it that seriously afterall. I picked a quiet time and quickly grabbed a few shots.

You can note a few things from this photo. First, the complete lack of windows, clocks or signs. People in these places aren't encouraged, or any way assisted, to keep track of time or to leave the place. Second, the whole place is themed - on King Authur's castle in this case. Everything from the light fittings to the chair backs has a "turrets and knights in armour" theme. Finally, note the black domes in the roof - cameras looking for people cheating. How many can you see in this shot alone? I counted about 30.

All images on this website have been shot using either a Canon S40 compact digital camera, or a Canon 20D DLSR. I'm something of a Canon fan. :) Most images have been post processed with Adobe Photoshop and the CurveMeister plugin. I thoroughly recommend CurveMeister, BTW. It's a great piece of software.
