This shot is taken from halfway up the bumpy, steep and rather scary mountain road that goes up to the icecap. We weren't allowed to take our hire car up here. Ahem. The machine in the centre of this shot is some sort of weird and wonderful snow shoveller that keeps the road clear in winter. Not used in summer, obviously.

I'm something of a Canon fan. :) Most images have been post processed with Adobe Photoshop and the CurveMeister plugin. I thoroughly recommend CurveMeister, BTW. It's a great piece of software.
