These are the new cliffs being formed at the ocean edge. At the rightmost part is a "shelf" of rock which has formed at the base of the cliffs. When this gets unstable it will break off and crash into the ocean. Tourists are warned not to go onto these shelves of rock - people have been lost when they have broken away.
