Just after I'd decided not to switch to my longer lens, and many months before I learnt how to change them quickly,we heard a rustling, shuffling noise. We then spotted this creature starting to climb a tree. It climbed steadily, unhurried by our presence. We had no idea what it was, and asked the rangers on the way out of the park. Turns out it's a porcupine.
