In September 2003, Tina and I visited Coalseam Park in Western Australia. This park is famous in WA for the wild "everlastings" flowers which bloom here for a couple of weeks each year.
The drive is about 5 hours from Perth, so we went up in one morning, stayed overnight at a motel in Dongara, then headed back the next day.
We ensured we left enough time on the return journey to drop in on the "Pinnacles", which is basically a desert full of weird shaped stones, shaped by the elements over thousands of years.
