About 8:20pm, on the 22nd August 2016, just as we were thinking about getting an early night, we heard a rumble of what sounded like thunder, which turned into an almighty roar accompanied by crashing and shattering type noises. Ever heard of Oak Sudden Limb Failure? Well I hadn't, but now I'm something of an expert on it.
