This is a passageway leading down into one of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings. This shot is taken from about halfway down. Just behind me there's a fake tomb, designed to foil grave robbers. This section was sealed behind a large rock door. The deceipt didn't work. The tomb was empty of treasures when found by modern day explorers.

All images on this website have been shot using either a Canon S40 compact digital camera, or a Canon 20D DLSR. I'm something of a Canon fan. :) Most images have been post processed with Adobe Photoshop and the CurveMeister plugin. I thoroughly recommend CurveMeister, BTW. It's a great piece of software.
